3 Reasons You Have Gained Weight

“Why have I gained weight?”

This is frustrating, right?

As the years pass by, you just seem to be heavier and heavier.

Here are 3 reasons why:

#1 You aren’t actually in a calorie deficit.

This is probably the reason for 90% of you. The calorie deficit you THINK you’re in is not actually a deficit.

Listen, you CAN NOT lose weight without being in a deficit. It’s IMPOSSIBLE to work off a bad diet so you HAVE to watch what you eat.

If you are active and you’re not losing weight, look at your diet. Sure, you eat well during the week, but do you destroy it on the weekend?

#2 You’re doing the wrong kind of exercise

Okay, you KNOW that you’re in a deficit. You’re the king/queen of MyFitnessPal.

Let’s look now at the activity. Is your idea of a workout 30 minutes on the elliptical/treadmill and some ab exercises a few times a week?

If so, that’s the problem.

#3 You’re too stressed out

That’s right, after diet and exercise, I’m looking at stress levels.

Do you find yourself on the brink of a nervous breakdown daily?

Do you sleep like shit?

Do you wonder what the earliest time is that you can break open the wine and not be judged?

You’re probably too stressed and need to chill out. Do some meditation or some yoga and come back down to ground level.

Stress is well known to do a number on the body and for some of you, it presents itself in the form of weight gain.

Remember, the only big deals are the things that YOU MAKE a big deal of.
